Blundstone 143 Men's 6-Inch Lace-Up Brown Steel Toe Boots are made in a simple style. They're medium brown, ankle-high, with a few black accents to add style. But what the eye can't see is that these steel toe boots are made with tough technology, careful construction and solid materials. What the eye can't see, the feet will be feeling (or not feeling) all day long. The brown uppers are made with water-resistant Crazy Horse brown leather. Leather is naturally supple to create a strong, flexible fit and will stay pliant even in wet weather conditions. A padded collar and tongue further ensure a comfortable fit. The inner lining is made with breathable material that promotes healthy, cooling air flow around feet. The moisture-wicking fabric will pull sweat away from skin. Shock-resistant polyurethane was used to make the supportive midsole layer. While the midsoles cushion, the steel shanks support. Designed to give feet torsional stability, the shanks prevent painful muscle strain. The TPU outsoles are heat-resistant up to 140 degrees. They'll resist melting even in extreme conditions, so you can get to safety. TPU, thermoplastic urethane, is a tough synthetic leather that supports steps with durable strength. The soles are also resistant to corrosive oil, acid and organic fat. TPU is resistant to abrasions, microbial attack and hydrolysis (water erosion). Molded TPU heel guards add even more durability. The slip-resistant tread gives you gripping strength. Speaking of safety, they're electrical hazard rated. The EH rating means the soles will absorb dangerous electrical energy so your body won't. The wide steel fit toe cap has a broad-fitting design to give you roomy comfort. These boots are both AS/NZS 2210.3.2009 and ASTM F2413-05 compliant.
